Interesting that KING thinks it needs more reporters. I can think of a handful of reporters I only see on the air once a week. Especially interesting given the budget cuts of Steve Soliz and others

They can’t run a news department without a number of reporters. I’m sure they have plans to fire or lay-off the under-performing crew members, but those need to be replaced. Budget cuts is an all-encompassing excuse to fire someone. So, a new hire could be the one waiting in the wings to fill the void. Radio-tv has always been competitive.
