Portland radio station LIVE 95.5 personnel seem to buy into the idea of AI DJs. Has someone told them that this is another method of cutting out the personality and human element of radio? It’s a clever and fun idea until it puts YOU out of work.

Yeah, Disney has gotten out of terrestrial radio. They see the writing on the wall. Radio Disney online would be sufficient, should they decide to do so.

Tuned in today online. “Live 95.5” where Ashley made no mention of “AI Ashley” – sounded human and totally detached from the songs she was playing….much like most voicetrackers these days. The “AI” sample sounded flat and unemotional -kinda like “Invasion of The Body Snatchers”. Keep this up and Disney will end up selling a radio station to a religious organization. (KBFF is NOT a Disney station. KRDC is.)
