This video was brought to my attention today. I have watched Steve Lehto videos before, unaware of his background in radio. Here he talks about the silencing of two stations he had worked for, before he became an attorney. It’s an interesting piece of history for the aircheck he plays and his opinion regarding what many believe is the death of radio.
Obviously, he loved his time in radio. It was fun, great times for all of us that were in the business. I enjoy sharing the stories of anyone who wants to share. That was the whole idea behind this blog, basing a lot of the direction from what we enjoyed years earlier with the Victor Stredicke columns etc.
If you have not already done so, share your memories on the GUESTBOOK or the FORUM, or here in the COMMENTS on this post.
Some of our contributors are true broadcast industry legends. I got into the business in 1973. I missed the glory days by THAT MUCH.
