Buck Ritchey, in his sixteenth year at KVI, had at least three air shifts per day. Six years later, Buck jumped ship to become the brand new Kountry KAYO’s morning man and remained there until he passed away December 23, 1973.

Mel Venter’s Tello-Test Quiz. I listened whenever I stayed home from school. Mel was on radio and TV for a long time in the Bay Area.
