Beloved radio host and stand-up comedian Ron Bennington announced this week that he has cancer.
Bennington is most notably known as the co-host of the “Ron and Fez Show,” which ran for nearly two decades across terrestrial and satellite radio. The show ended in 2015 after his co-host Fez “Marie” Whatley suffered a series of serious health issues. Whatley died of heart failure in 2021.
Bennington currently co-hosts “Bennington” on SiriusXM with his daughter Gail Bennington. The show announced on March 27 that Ron Bennington, also known as Ronnie B, was in the hospital. Days later, the show shared a heartbreaking update. (KTLA 5)
