You stumped me on that one so I browsed through some Broadcasting Yearbooks and discovered that it was 1970, I was working at KURB and Randy was P. D. at KEDO, not KBAM.
They’ve got a nice little mini market down there. I used to listen to KUKN 94.5 Cookin Country way back when it was still on that frequency. Early 90s. They have way more stations on the air there than they used to. Rocket 107.1 is still going strong. 1270 has a decent signal hear it sometimes as far north as Tacoma area.
KBAM, KLOG and KEDO (all AM stations) were the only signals from Longview-Kelso when I was at KBAM. Arne’s son Dave Peterson was PD and did mid-days at KBAM.

I sent a tape and resume (“tight board”) to KBAM. The P. D. was Randy Craig.
