Kirby Wilbur To Retire

January 27th will be Kirby Wilbur’s final day at 570 KVI. Wilbur will retire to Texas, where he has family. Wilbur has been with KVI since 2016, and previously 1993-2009. KVI has long been the Conservative Talk beacon for the Pacific Northwest.

    Kirby doesn’t have the greatest on-air delivery, but he is very bright and well-informed. Also a teacher, former Republican Party State Chair, and–I really like this one–a former property appraiser.

    I liked him much more than Limbaugh, Michael Reagan, Medved, etc. There’s an actual brain in his head.
