Former KING 5 Assignment Editor takes city council post

Tanya Woo, one-time local television news teleprompter operator and assignment desk editor, is now a Seattle City Council member. She tells reporters in her first press conference that improving public safety is top priority.

    Hopefully the “Public” she speaks of is the “Public” that is paying taxes.

      I’m thinking it is specific to the Asian community, which has been victim to street crime.
