Will the last person to leave KIRO 7, please turn out the lights? –And this may be our last comment concerning Liz Dueweke.

Aaron Wright, 90 days or so away from the three year mark, ousted from KIRO 7. Wright, silent on social media. Details when we have them…

Comcast is looking at possibly (if it is spoken, count on it happening) selling off their cable networks and is seeking streaming partners. We saw this coming, as more people are cutting the cable and taking a close look at their online streaming subscriptions. (TVNewscheck)

Disney has signed a 10-year deal which takes the Grammy awards from CBS starting in 2027. Viewership for the Grammy Awards is down from previous years. Disney plans to simulcast the ceremony on ABC, HULU and Disney +.

Not interested in ever watching another awards show. But look at this…

Today’s challenge: Tell us which is Liz Dueweke’s “bad side.” (see answer below pic)

What happened to Frankie Katifias on Kiro 7, Seattle?

      Lou Robbins says:

By now we know KIRO will take a reporter and toss them onto the floor to do weather — or take the weather gal and put her in the field to do reporting. Last I saw Frankie, she was doing reports in the field. KIRO moves people around where they are needed. Too many firings.

Well no more Liz Dueweke won’t bother me. I guess I have DDS. Dueweke derangement Syndrome. Prior to her Seattle gig she was known as Liz “Mean” Dueweke.

As to KIRO, they have gone the path of all local TV stations with large corporations as owners. Nothing to see.

Sloss does have that California vibe. I think Eric Thomas could grow into Seattle tv, but with downsizing being the thing these days, who knows if he will get that chance?

I wonder how many will get the SLOSSun at the fork?
