This is all they have as a descriptor on the guy that stabbed and killed the Metro bus driver? Does anyone at these stations investigate beyond the short bit of info given by the Seattle PD and UW?
I did. I made 11 phone calls to the UW, Metro and Seattle PD departments. None of those who should know, are willing to divulge the RACE of the offender. I prodded until I received Neil Crozier and Elaine Porterfield’s cell phone numbers.
I was told he was wearing camo pants. That is more than has been reported by the news stations. Still, the question of race went unanswered.
The tv and radio stations should work harder at accurate reporting and INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM, instead of taking the blurb they get from Seattle PD at face value.

There was video of the fight– the police had plenty of information that could have been given to the public.
If the TV media can spend on salary for 17 hours of news each day, but can’t produce the information the public wants — time to kill off tv news and move to new media platforms and new sources for information. The public demands better.

5 tv stations each having 12-17 hours of news each day is not necessary under such conditions.
We can move to a “BULLETIN” format disseminated on the Internet through the social media.

I get a kick out of how Channel 4 will have Ryan Sims Theron’s on Hannah Knowles all out on the weather deck at KOMO and then they say reporting live from Seattle when they have a tape of an incident saying that you District and yet they’re on out on the deck doing it and then the same thing in the morning were they’ll report it and saying reporting this morning from Seattle when in fact all they’re doing is sitting outside the KOMO Studios what a bunch of crap that is and channel 13 is starting to do the same thing
