Radio-TV Notes: Speaking of Sports

Seattle Mariners voice, Rick Rizzs will retire after this 2026 baseball broadcast season. After 40 years with the team broadcast crew, Rizzs said, “Calling Mariners games has been the highlight of my life and having the chance to connect with managers, coaches, players, clubhouse personnel, my colleagues in the booth, those in the front office, but especially the great fans here in the Pacific Northwest has made it unbelievably special.”

A man who calls himself Bad Bunny, singer of filthy song lyrics, says he will wear a dress during his half-time stage show at the upcoming Super Bowl. As the Seattle Seahawks will be making another play for the trophy, this is a game not to miss. Best place to listen-in would be KIRO 710 and KIRO 97.3 FM. No need to watch the tv. The NFL has gone to Hell! Say it with me, it rhymes.
