Ruth was an amazing, very motivated woman, particularly for her times. I am ancient enough to remember that she hosted a sort of “reading for children” show, dressed as a princess, just before her idea for the Wunda Wunda character came in to fruition….she had studied stage arts, and been a dancer in college…Her show was basically aimed at pre-schoolers, and I was just a couple of years “too old” to appreciate her talents….Seattle has had some very original talent gracing our TV airwaves, especially back in the day!…The 1950s were a seemingly quiet decade, yet much was fomenting behind the scenes!

My earliest memories (B.1949) included Ruth Prins before my much needed noon-time nap. Rest in Peace, Ruth Prins.
