  1. Not a good look.

OK, so nobody should think of Sean Hannity as a traditional objective journalist. He’s a TV host. But, millions of people see him as a reliable source of news and political commentary.

Over the weekend, Hannity married Ainsley Earhardt, host of “Fox & Friends.”

And here’s the bad optics: The pre-wedding rehearsal dinner was held at Mar-a-Lago. Hannity said in a statement to Fox, “I’ve had a personal relationship with President Trump for over 30 years. When Ainsley and I began planning this celebration, it was important to us that he could be part of this special time in our lives.”

    How touching.

The Trumps did not attend the wedding. But here are some of the people who attended either the rehearsal dinner or the wedding: White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, White House deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Eric and Lara Trump, former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis and South Carolina Republican Sen. Tim Scott.

Again, none of this is shocking, but it’s hard for Fox News to hold itself as an objective news source when one of its biggest and most influential personalities is hobnobbing with the president and some of the most important people in the administration.

  2. Husky men's basketball play-by play:

    Bill • October 20, 2026

Nick Koop will take over the radio play-by-play duties for the Washington men’s basketball team, the school announced Tuesday.

Koop replaces Tony Castricone, who left in June to call games for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“Nick brings extensive experience across college athletics, understands the responsibility that comes with this role, and will be a great addition as we continue to connect our fans with the people and programs that make Washington special,” UW athletic director Pat Chun said in a statement released by the school.

Since 2016, Koop has been the radio play-by-play announcer for UCLA football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball and soccer. He also has play-by-play duties on the Big Ten Network and FOX Sports.

Castricone was the “Voice of the Huskies” for nine seasons and followed legendary play-by-play man Bob Rondeau, who broadcast UW men’s basketball and football for 32 and 37 years, respectively.

“I’m thrilled for the opportunity to represent one of the richest traditions in college sports and one of the top universities in the world,” Koop said. “Washington has been blessed with great radio voices, and I’m grateful to follow in their footsteps.”

His first broadcast will be Sunday when the Husky men play Washington State in an exhibition game.
