Trump said Zacharia could remain in his administration in another role, though the Post reported Sunday that a White House official said she “will not be working at the White House anymore.”
Next up to the podium? Eyes are back on former frontrunner for the position, CNN’s Scott Jennings.
One week after “60 Minutes” cracked 10 million viewers for the first time this season, the show saw another ratings dip.
“According to Nielsen, last Sunday’s “60 Minutes” — which included Lesley Stahl’s report from the West Bank — drew 6.061 million viewers. That’s quite the drop-off a week after “60 Minutes” had its best ratings of the year when 10.2 million people watched. In addition. Sunday’s episode was the lowest-rated fourth episode of a “60 Minutes” season this century.”

Once again, the NFL had something to do with it. The show that cracked 10 million had the featured national game of the week in the late window as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Las Vegas Raiders in a tight game, 30-27. That was just the lead-in CBS needed for “60 Minutes.”
But on Sunday, the marquee game of the day was on Fox as the 49ers beat the Seahawks in the late window. That meant CBS didn’t have a strong NFL lead-in, which likely contributed to the down numbers.
Former NBC White House correspondent Peter Alexander was… not happy with Katie Zacharia’s first briefing and says he will be immediately calling the Office of Special Counsel.
MS NOW’s Peter Alexander reports Kash Patel is in Russia (He’s in Virginia), “We do have some breaking news we want to get to right now here on MS NOW. This is about the FBI director Kash Patel, MS NOW has learned that Patel has landed in Russia for a meeting scheduled to take place there. That’s according to two people familiar with the matter.”

MS NOW just reported I had “landed in Russia” for meetings with the FSB. The same outlet constantly tells lies about this FBI and law enforcement’s historic achievements in safeguarding the American people.
The results speak for themselves:
• 53,969+ violent crime arrests (up 90%)
• Nearly 20% decrease in the nationwide murder rate
• 31,016+ violent criminals and gang members arrested (up 30%)
• 10 of the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted fugitives captured (2.5× the prior four years)
• 11,081+ child victims located and identified (up 21%)
• 3,258+ kilos of fentanyl seized (up 8%) — enough to kill 247+ million Americans
This is no accident. It is due to the relentless work of this FBI and all of our state, local, and tribal partners.
They owe an apology to this FBI, the men and women of law enforcement, and to the American people.
But in her defense, she said she passed the bar in China.
Last time she was admitted to the bar she was with Hegseth.
Sorry, that was a cheap shot.
Perhaps we should not be so critical of her qualifications. She has proven herself to be uniquely suited to represent this administration.

Nobody is buying what local media is selling. 5pm, 6pm and 11 pm. Lies, Lies, Lies.

If local tv news is serving up lies to fulfill a duty to the puppetmaster, there is no need to watch KOMO, KING, KIRO, or KCPQ. The news is available from other sources. Usually without the lies.
No matter your source for news, don’t take it at face value.
