Colleen O’Brien will exit KIRO FM when Dave Ross retires

KIRO 97.3 morniing drive will lose Colleen O’Brien and Dave Ross next month. Guest hosts and tributes to the morning team will fill the void through the end of 2024 with the new host taking over in 2025.

    Heather is a consummate broadcast journalist, solid reporter and anchor, including CBS. In a head-to-head comparison to be Harger’s co-anchor, the nod goes to Ursula, seasoned KIRO anchor and former news director, for her longevity (came to KIRO radio in 1988), credibility, versatility, and engaging on-air personality.

    I haven’t listened to Dave Ross in quite a few years but sad to hear him retire but I hope they don’t have Travis Mayfield come and fill in I mean after all we can’t see him where his necklace or his dress when he’s on the radio
