Sad news from Arizona, former Seattle tv newsman, John Sandifer, has died

Former KOMO TV anchor and reporter John Sandifer passed away Monday in Arizona.
John’s wife posted the following:

A celebration of life has been scheduled for John on Saturday, March 15th at 11:00 AM. Grace Fellowship Church So. 6500 Miller Rd., Buckeye, Arizona.

For those in Seattle, I will notify you of a service up there at a later date. Thank you.

Former award-winning broadcast journalist John Sandifer lived in Buckeye, Arizona. His six books have garnered national awards for nonfiction. He was an avid researcher, fly-fisherman, watercolor artist and writer.
