Natalie Fahmy has been covering Ohio politics and statehouse news for NBC4 in Columbus, Ohio. On July 2, Fahmy announced that July 11 would be her last day at NBC4. This morning, she shared via X, that she will join KOMO News as an anchor and reporter starting August 11. Fahmy’s previous stops include WJW Cleveland, WOWK Huntington and Charleston, West Virginia among others.

Everyday is a slow news day at ARCSEATTLE and KOMO4. Must be that or they have scheduled too many news hours. Today, new fraps at Starbucks is a feature from the Live Desk — What do you think of the new flavors?! -Strawberry Matcha Strato Frappuccino, -Salted Caramel Mocha Strato Frappuccino, -Brown Sugar Strato Frappuccino ??? Everybody got in on the topic. Weathercaster George Waldenberger chimed in that he was not up on the Starbucks lingo.

Jason Remington says:
I think the hour or half hour newscast will go the way of the dinosaur and newspaper. People will click for on-demand articles/video for specific breaking news. No longer will they sit through a discussion on Mocha frappa coffee toffee, extra sprinkles and two shots. The feature stories with the local CPA at tax time are of interest to no one. They can work through those issues with Turbo-Tax. No time to suffer with anchor chatter. Give me the facts NOW.
