KJET new partnership pending FCC approval

WSH North Bay Broadcasting has submitted an application for a $300,000 purchase of KJET (105.7 FM) in Union, Washington, from Jodesha Broadcasting. WSH North Bay Broadcasting is a new partnership formed by Bill Wolfenbarger, Gregory Smith, and David Hartman. Wolfenbarger, who owns Jodesha Broadcasting, will own 50% of the new company, while Smith and Hartman will each hold 25%.

According to the filing, the entire purchase price will be covered by a promissory note from Wolfenbarger. Jodesha Broadcasting will continue to own its other stations: CHR-formatted “Y-107.3” KANY in Cosmopolis, WA, and adult contemporary “Sunny 102.1” KSWW in Ocean Shores, WA.

In the meantime, WSH North Bay Broadcasting plans to run KJET under a time brokerage (LMA) agreement until the deal receives approval and closes. The station is presently silent and off the air.
