Former KOL personality, Gary Todd passes

Gary Todd, KOL (1961 and 1967-68), and top-rated Indianapolis morning radio personality, (“Gary’s Place” on 1070/WIBC), passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, in Forest, Virginia. He was 89 years old.
Born on May 8, 1937, in Walla Walla, Washington, Todds radio career spanned stations in Washington, California, Arizona, Canada, Colorado, and Oregon. Todd left KOL/Seattle in 1968, becoming the #1 personality in Indianapolis at WIBC, owning the airwaves for 20 years.
