Who at the P-I was assigned to write the radio listings? So many typos in this one.

Housewives loved the peaceful cooing of Dove Clark, but Jack Norton bombed at noon. The evening guy moonlighted installing crescents in outhouse doors.

Are you saying KVI was for the birds? I think Don Furmann might have been a hawk.

Oh seriously? Well, I knew it wasn’t Hardwick.

I wonder who was in charge of making sure the radio/TV listings were accurate in the Times back then, as I noticed under the KIRO 710 listing that it says NBA All-Star Game at 6 PM, and Jim French also at 6 PM…

If I had to guess, I would say that Jim French was on at 6 AM, not PM; incidentally, as a big sports fan(and a big fan of sports TV and radio history), i’m surprised to see any radio stations carrying the NBA All-Star Game nationally back then, as the NBA was not even close to the popularity it has today, and their national television deal was not the greatest in the world at the time.

I agree. Names are misspelled. More errors in this particular column than I have seen in others.
