Was someone trying to silence Hardwick?

August 17, 1963

The article goes on to mention that Hardwick was outspoken on-air about the corruption within the city/city government without naming names. All that plus, weather sports and traffic, mornings with Hardwick on 570-KVI.

A check of the P-I versus the Times: across the board, the P-I spelled Hardwick with the ‘e’ and the Times left off the ‘e’ spelling it Hardwick. Well, there you go.

Pretty much the same as the Jerry Kay-Jerry Kaye spelling confusion.

It’s Hardwick. Sloppy writing in that 1963 article.
