Chief Journalist Leaves KREM 2

Amanda Roley
Puyallup’s Amanda Roley is leaving KREM 2 after 9 years. Roley leaves her position as Chief Journalist. She served as Senior Reporter from 2021–2023. In May 2023, she was promoted to Chief Journalist, where she reports on major regional stories and helps lead the newsroom’s photographers, editors, and multimedia journalists. Before KREM, she worked at KFBB in Great Falls, Montana, as a weekend anchor and reporter. She also served as a statewide political reporter in Helena during the Montana legislative session.
Roley graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, emphasis in Journalism Media Production. She’s She hosts a segment called “The Tea with Amanda Roley”, featuring in-depth interviews with local leaders, politicians, and figures on Spokane-area issues.
Roley graduated from Governor John R. Rogers High School, Puyallup. She leaves to join her husband in St. Louis
