With no SportsRadio station remaining, fans in Greater Vancouver can tune to 104.9 FM in Vancouver, 92.5 FM in Abbotsford, and 107.5 FM in Chilliwack and the Fraser Valley to hear the Sept. 19th Vancouver Canucks’ pre-season matchup vs. Seattle. Brendan Batchelor will return to handle play-by-play duties, alongside Randip Janda on colour commentary for Rogers Sports & Media’s games.
The broadcast rights land at KISS Throwbacks, following station closures in early July that included CISL Sportsnet 650 — Vancouver’s last remaining sports radio station, where games had been heard since the 2017-18 season. (broadcastdialogue.com)
