Mo Haider left KOMO 4 News in July 2024, after nearly 11 years. He moved back to Houston and picked up with KTRK ABC 13. Now, Mo Haider is back in the Pacific Northwest, this time at KGW 8/Portland. Earlier in his TV career, Haider hit at WTVF in Nashville, NBC 26 in Green Bay, KRQE in Albuquerque, and KCAU in Sioux City. Haider left KTRK in July this year and finally took the anchor chair this week, if only temporarily, for two stints during the morning news hours.
Scott Carty had posted a video on social media this week concerning the move from midday to afternoon drive and called the change “bittersweet.” He got slightly choked up talking about cuts and changes at KNWN.
Sounds like that mandatory staff meeting had some tense moments.
