They let Gibbons go from KZOK. The last person who was actually on air or producing from Seattle.
Compare what KZOK was like when CBS owned it to ihm. They had a live and local morning show, Gary Crow after, Slaton and Nate, Stacy Ireland after, Dale Robert’s after her, and Kevin Hammond over nights. You could actually call the station and talk to someone. Scott Vanderpool in the group ans well. And they had Cary Curelop programming it. It was firing on all eight cyclinders. Not to mention weekend jocks like Rockfish and others. The Breakfast with the Beatles, lunch with led, and superb production. And they played actual classic rock!
With ihm, they started out with essentially what CBS had and widdled it down to nothing.
Also, KUBE 93. Packing the gorge or other venues every summer. Rap isn’t my music of choice, but they really dropped the ball on that one. Sports talk on the KUBE frequency? How’s that going? Lowest rated full power FM station in the market? Book after book? Meanwhile 710 on AM well ahead of most. Put that sports talk or whatever talk back on AM.
With all of the people who’ve been let go over the years, how does the cockroach get to keep his job? You know the one who failed his way to the top. Name will go unmentioned. Because there’s more than one of them.

I’m glad he’s gone he was one of their worst announcers from complaining about Dick’s Drive-In charging for catch up and other crap that had nothing to do with sports
