Taylor Mirfendereski is a two-time Peabody Award–winning investigative journalist based in Seattle. She is best known for nearly a decade at KING 5, where she did multimedia investigations that mixed writing, video, photos, and graphics.
She studied at Ohio University (Honors Tutorial College), interned at NBC’s Today show and in Columbus, then worked at WOUB public media and as a digital reporter at WCPO in Cincinnati (public safety and justice). She joined KING 5 in 2016.
In early 2025 her KING 5 job was eliminated in industry cuts. She posted that she was looking for investigative work in TV, digital, or print. Muck Rack later listed her as a freelance contributor; her work still circulated on sister Tegna stations. A September 2025 industry note said she had gotten engaged that May.
