Lieberman returns to Bay area media vidcasting

Rich Lieberman has returned to his post, pontificating on Bay area media. He is as pleasant as ever. Everybody in the San Fran media must have breathed a sigh of relief, there were likely tears of joy being shed over the news of his return. Rich dug right in with slams against KCBS radio and KGO tv 7. Absent since October ’25, Rich has once again settled back into long-winded rants aimed at the personalities and station management. From the videos I saw, there were no “breaking news” stories, but the usual beef. Rich hates the San Francisco radio and television situation. He will tell you all about it at https://www.youtube.com/@MrRL1962 on Youtube.

  1. Any Updates?

    AJ • July 20, 2026

Any updates on Rich? His last 415 post was in February. That’s nearly 6 months ago. Even if he doesn’t want to post videos (and, to be honest, I hated the videos. I liked his writing), he should post SOMETHING to let us know he’s not dead. Unless he’s had a twenty-minute phone call with any of you.

I haven’t heard from Rich and there are no reports of Lieberman sightings– on Youtube or his website. We may have heard the last from Rich Lieberman.

  2. Welfare check on Rich Lieberman?

    Frank • June 23, 2026

Anyone have his email address? Sometimes when he disappears, he comes back when there’s something noteworthy regarding either KRON (usually Darry’s) or KGO. In this case Brian Copeland health.

Not a peep, not a growl. No word on Rich’s situation. The Bay area media waits and wonders if Rich will return.

      1. We need Rich's perspective

I hope Rich is well enough and that he sticks around long enough to see what happens with the spectacular dumpster fire that is the Ronn Owens/Jan Black/Laura Owens family. I’d love to hear Rich’s commentary.

        1. Bugsey Rich is missing the good stuff on Ronn & Jan

Ronn & Jan are back in bankruptcy court, this time pro se for a chapter 11. The Fed trustee examiner had has it with their fabrications and flat out lying. The judge is tired of this entire mess. They may be in legal trouble over the Go Fund Me (most of the money went to Macy’s) and other shifty stuff they’ve done. Listen to the Love Trapped podcast or read the r/JusticeforClayton subreddit for links to the numerous investigations into the family.

The case is very complicated and Laura has a history of these scams. Not sure that Lieberman ever went as in-depth as we see in these podcasts.
Lieberman is missed. But his rants were a bit too much at times.

            1. RK Agreed

Agree with your comment Jason, as Rich really doesn’t add anything new, tends to ramble, and those curious about the Laura Owens/Ronn Owens/Jan Black situation would be better served by listening to Martha Ross’s Love Trapped podcasts.

Rich’s video’s related to Ronn might be a listen, and if you have the patience/endurance for them, you could gather a couple of anecdotes from Ronn’s early days at KGO 810 am when Rich was still a teenager and they first became friends. One tip from the Justice for Clayton crowd is to set the YouTube playback speed (for Rich’s videos) to 1.5x or even 2x which makes watching his clips less taxing

  3. Missing Rich...

    Richard Truely • May 11, 2026

Given Rich’s recent health issues and his age, I suspect that we have probably seen the last of him online. I hope I am wrong, but it just feels like he is gone for good.

  4. Looks like Rich is on leave, again

    RK • May 3, 2026

Looks like Rich has stopped posting new video clips. The last one in his YouTube channel was dated March 18, 2026. Not sure what is going on with him, but since he posted so frequently after he returned in late January 2026, Rich posting nothing else since March 18 seems to indicate he is dealing with another health challenge. While I don’t find his video clips that interesting, I do hope he gets better. Perhaps someone in his circle could post an update as to what is going on with Rich.
