    No energy in this one for sure. This could pass for small market radio if we didn’t know the call letters. The same could be said for a lot of what is on the air in Seattle these days. No energy, no originality, no personality.

    I heard “KOMA in Oklahoma!” in ’63 loud and clear driving between Seattle and Sun Valley. I recall them using the same jingles as KOL or KJR. Fun listening!

    Even singing time checks: “Time marches on in Seattle, it’s now eleven after three” and “Time marches on with KOMA, it’s now eleven after three”.

    Not the same high-energy rockin’ KOMA I remember from the 1970s. The same could be said about a lot of stations, though.
