Leah Pezzetti San Diego 10 KGTV News Meteorologist, moves to KING 5 this week. “I am ECSTATIC to finally be able to scream that I’m joining the absolute best team: @king5seattle! KING 5 is a station I’ve idolized since joining this industry. They just won runner up for @nppa’s station of the year and are known as the best of the best. I’m truly pinching myself!
I am SO excited about this position. Not only will I get to forecast, but I get to help this amazing team expand their environmental reporting! If you know me, you know I love spending time on both the weather wall AND with a camera in my hands, so this is a ✨dream✨ job of forecasting + storytelling. I am SO ready to bring some sunshine to Seattle.” (Tweet)

Looks like the prototypical “look” the majority of stations look for.

See her on the air soon. That revolving door at KING 5 needs some WD-40 by now.
