On January 1, 1976, The Adventures of Harry Nile made its radio debut over Seattle station KVI AM. Tonight’s episode picks up Harry’s story Immediately after that play “West for My Health” ends. Fifty years later Harry and his adventures are still being written, recorded and broadcast. Happy Anniversary!
Chris Rea has died at age 74, his family confirmed, saying he passed away peacefully following a short illness.
Rea was a major figure in British music, best known for hits like “Driving Home for Christmas,” “The Road to Hell,” and “Fool (If You Think It’s Over).”
He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Chris, who died peacefully earlier today following a short illness,” his family announced in an Instagram post on Dec. 22.
Rea previously experienced a series of health problems in the years prior to his death. He had suffered from pancreatic cancer, and in 2016, he suffered a stroke.
As of October 6th. Rich is not answering his phone. Must be going through some major personal issues. Hopefully he will get that all cleared up and return in some capacity.

and the Lotus Communications Corp. Seattle radio group. He has accepted the position
of Senior Broadcast Engineer for T-Mobile. Magaña has been an engineer for several
Seattle stations since 2000.
February 10, 2022 – Former FOX 13 KCPQ-TV Seattle evening anchor Alyana Gomez has resurfaced
as an anchor/ reporter at 6ABC WPVI-TV Philadelphia. She had been an evening anchor
at FOX 13 since October 2019.
February 9, 2022 – After over 7-1/2 years as a multimedia journalist and reporter at KING 5
Seattle, Ted Land puts in his last day. After a total of 15 years in the business,
he is taking a job outside of news.
Nov 2021: Jen Psaki assures Americans all Afghans being let into the country as a result of the disastrous withdrawal were rigorously vetted:
“I can absolutely assure you that no one is coming into the United States of America who has not been through a thorough screening and background check process.”

My hometown was once a major sea port, “boom town” rivaling Seattle, later a hub for thugs and crime and this is the plan (?) Blue state-Progressive state of mind. I disown Tacoma, but have the memories of “the way we were.”
